The bakery is operated by two powerhouse female business owners, Stephanie Schroer and Holly Waud. They both own franchises in Oregon and Washington and decided to purchase the Tualatin bakery as a team at the beginning of 2023. “Holly and I had our bakeries, so this is the offspring of those,” says Stephanie. “We’re excited to be expanding and growing.”

There are ten tasty cake flavors, all generously adorned with thick and creamy signature frosting. The signature chocolate-chocolate chip is the most popular, closely followed by red velvet, lemon, white chocolate raspberry, and the always-available gluten-free chocolate chip is adored by customers and employees alike. They also rotate seasonal and pop-up flavors, featuring peppermint chocolate chip for the holiday season. “It’s like peppermint hot chocolate in cake form,” says Stephanie.

Stephanie and Holly are thrilled to join the Tualatin community. “The bakery has been here for ten years, so it’s a long-standing tradition in the community, and we love seeing guests who’ve been coming in since it first opened,” Stephanie shares. Connecting with youth is another cornerstone of the business. “One of my favorite parts is giving high school kids their first job,” she says. “They are so enthusiastic and appreciative. Teaching them different skills and seeing them become more confident is a wonderful thing we can offer.”

Cakes come in sizes designed to fit any group size, including 8-inch and 10-inch individual and tiered options, personal bundlets that serve one to two people, and cupcake-size bundintis sold by the dozen. Full-size bundts in the top four flavors are always kept fresh in the case as are all flavors of bundtlets.

Adding some themed aesthetic to your cakes is a must and Nothing Bundt Cakes will adorn them with fun and colorful decorations for any occasion. Decked out in holiday swag, big bows, and cute toppers, the cakes come wrapped in cellophane for an elevated presentation that is easy to transport.

Orders can be placed in person, via phone, online, or through third-party delivery apps like Doordash and Ubereats. Unless it’s a major holiday, most items can be ready in an hour or less. Stephanie and Holly regularly spread joy by delivering free cakes to local businesses. “We call it ‘You’ve been bundted,’” says Stephanie with a laugh. Stephanie and Holly are excited to continue growing and happy to be part of Tualatin. “I’m confident this bakery will succeed because it has an organized community with tons of fun activities and growing businesses.”
