Ink Ability, Battle Ground’s local, family-owned-and- operated print shop, “features state-of-the-art printing equipment and full-service bindery for all of your printing needs.” Known throughout Clark County for its high-quality print work, they have received recognition for the last four years and counting as a Top 5 nominee for “Best of Clark County” printers. They handle flyers, posters, banners, business cards, invitations, signs, forms, copying, graphic design and more. Ink Ability is “your one stop print shop!”

Strongly committed to their clients, Ink Ability takes extra steps to ensure customer satisfaction. A primary focus for the print shop is keeping prices affordable and service timely. “We do high quality work with a fast turnaround time,” relates Kendra Laratta, Ink Ability’s principal owner. Speaking to quality, proofs are provided on every job, and Kendra goes the extra mile to preview each project as well — if anything seems amiss, she’ll call the client before going to print. “Our customer service is really what sets us apart,” Kendra explains. “We want to ensure that the finished product you receive is precisely the product you envisioned.”

Ever mindful of providing for the needs of the community, Ink Ability is (as of December 1st) moving to a new expanded location at 907 SE Grace Avenue in Battle Ground. No longer hampered by the space constraints which limited production in their previous location, Kendra is ecstatic about the move. “This should increase our efficiency dramatically,” she stated, “And now we will finally have the ability to employ an oversized scanner (for blueprints) and a Roland Machine for processing die-cut stickers. This is something they’ve wanted to do for quite some time and they are anxious to take that next step and be able to accommodate more jobs.

Community outreach remains a high priority for Kendra and her husband, Russell, co-owner of Ink Ability. They are supporters of local nonprofits and provide many instances of in-kind donations and work for organizations such as Rocksolid Community Teen Center and Battle Ground Education Foundation. Kendra is also a Founding Member of the Battle Ground Festival Association which is responsible for hosting various community events such as Harvest Days and the annual Trick or Treat on Main Street. Kendra has done so much for the community, in fact, that she was named “Citizen of the Year” in 2022 by the Citizen of the Year Committee (a great honorthat profoundly moved her).

Kendra and Russell absolutely love their Battle Ground community. Since they moved here seven years ago (from Southern Oregon), they have come to consider this town and their customers family. This business is an opportunity for them to interact and help people “bring their ideas to life!” So next time you have any kind of print job, large or small, trust Ink Ability to get it done right every time.
