Inventory includes regularly stocked items as well as a rotation of overstock, close-out deals and seasonal merchandise. “We have a ton of organics,” says store owner Brandon Donnelly. “We opened with integrating NOSH (Natural Organic Specialty and Healthy) items in with like-products,” he explains. He also points out that as the store grows, they’re able to bring in more fresh-food options for fruits and vegetables, meats and deli.

Brandon and his wife, Racheal, are proud of their staff who make running the store easier. Many of their employees have been on board since the opening two years ago. A handful started at the Donnellys’ previous store then moved over to the Molalla location with them. “I want to take the best care of my team as possible, because they take good care of me,” expresses Brandon.

“It’s been an awesome couple of years,” he acknowledges. “We feel like Molalla really has accepted us and we feel like we’ve done what we said we’d do.” Passionate about their role in the community, the Donnellys partner with O’Reilly’s in town, as well as sponsor a number of local events to raise money for folks in the community. A participating store in Grocery Outlet’s Independence from Hunger campaign, the Donnellys helped raise around $12,000 for this cause over the last two years. Grocery Outlet also donates regularly to Foothills Community Church, providing hundreds of dollars of food from the store each month.
