Sustainable Refillery

Adding to the local sustainability movement and new to the city of Lake Oswego, Melior Refillery recently celebrated their grand opening. A women-owned business run by Calley Riley, the new shop opened this past March to a warm welcome.

So, what exactly is a refillery? A refillery is a business dedicated to offering environmentally conscious, zero-waste products and bulk items. It’s a plastic-free establishment, aiming for a circular purchasing model and the reduction of disposable packaging. Customers are encouraged to bring their own glass containers to refill various items including personal care products, household cleaning supplies and locally-sourced small-batch goods.

Melior carries a great variety of home and body products as well as accessories. Some of their home products include cleaning, kitchen and bathroom, blankets and towels, candles and compost bins. Their body products include lotions, cosmetics, shower goods, brushes (hair + tooth), tissues and fragrances, among other items.
