Wilsonville Dental Group has been serving the Wilsonville community and providing the finest in family, cosmetic, and implant dentistry since 1986. Dr. Thomas E. Clark is the current owner and a second generation dentist practicing alongside his father, the original owner and founder of the practice, Dr. Terrence Clark.

Thomas has been in or around the dental industry all of his life. Driven to excel in all of his endeavors, he graduated from Brigham Young University with academic honors in Business Management (with an emphasis in entrepreneurship). His lifelong dream had always been to run his own business, and while working part-time with his father while still attending college, Thomas was able to glean enough from the experience to know that dentistry was the avenue he would pursue. He went on to graduate with both academic and clinical honors from Oregon Health & Science University.

Dr. Thomas didn’t immediately take over the practice from his father, but was selected for a competitive general practice residency at the Portland VA Medical Center. This experience was important for not only allowing him to give so much back to the veterans who’d served our country, but also for expanding his education with advanced surgical and restorative training.

In 2011, he started his own practice and shortly thereafter, in 2013, purchased Wilsonville Dental Group from his father. Dr. Thomas is uncompromising in his quality of care, carefully listening to every patient’s specific needs and helping them to achieve optimal dental health. He carries on his father’s legacy of serving the community with compassion, integrity, and excellence. He has great passion for the work he does, and a sincere desire to provide the best and most comprehensive care available in the industry.
With that in mind, and in their efforts to keep patients from having to solicit additional care from other specialists (often a time-consuming and logistical nightmare) both father and son have gone the extra mile to gain additional training and certification in all levels of dental treatment. No job is too big or too small; from root canals to implants, extractions, bone grafting, and even gum surgery, they do it all! And they do every step in-house so you don’t ever have to go anywhere else.

Along with all of their training and expertise, they have also equipped the practice with the most state-of-the-art equipment: Digital X-Ray machines, a Cone Beam CT Scanner, a Digital Impression scanner (in lieu of those uncomfortable metal trays of the past)… every piece of machinery you could possibly need for your dental health is here.

Serving any and all customers from ages 1 to100, Wilsonville dental seeks to make you as comfortable as possible during your visit. In addition to a wide array of comfortable options such as massage chairs, chair-adapting comfort pillows and blankets, ipods and/or headphones for customer usage, and nitrous oxide (aka “conscious sedation”), they also offer full sedation dentistry (aka “sleep dentistry” or “dental anesthesia”). For those who harbor a particular phobia regarding dental work, you can be put under and wake up after the procedure is over with no memory of the process. They have a wonderful anesthesiologist on site weekly who can work with any patient to provide this unique service. This also allows the Clarks to work on patients with special needs or disabilities who may not otherwise be able to procure dental care.
