Whether it’s a high-energy celebration, a relaxing art exhibition or an exhilarating hike, Lake Oswego has something delightful for everyone of all ages and interests. Save this selection of available activities that are sure to entice.

Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts

Calling all artists and art enthusiasts! This year, the 61st annual Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts will take place on June 21–23, with exhibits at Lakewood Center and George Rogers Park. This free event features interactive exhibits and activities for the whole family, with food and live music.

Hike Old Main Trail to Red Fox Trail

Part of Tryon Creek State Natural Area, this beautiful 1.5-mile out-and-back trek typically takes about 45 minutes and is suitable for all skill levels. Follow the paved path as it meanders through thickly wooded clearings and alongside the creek. It’s the perfect hike to bring the kids or leashed furbabies.

 Pride Lake Oswego

This year marks Lake Oswego’s first-ever Pride Festival! This free celebration of love and inclusivity will be held on June from noon to 4 p.m. in Millenium Park Plaza and will include food and merchandise vendors, support organizations and on-stage entertainment.

 Hazelia Agricultural Heritage Trail

Lake Oswego’s Hazelia neighborhood has a unique farming history traced back to the pioneers who arrived on the Oregon Trail. Many of the original families still sow their seeds here. This four-mile paved walking trail begins at Luscher Farm and passes ten interpretive panels that tell the story.

Juneteenth

Presented by the City of Lake Oswego and Respond to Racism, this free community celebration will be held on Sunday, June 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Millenium Park Plaza. Commemorate the end of slavery with musical performances, dancing, food and artisan vendors and more!

Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market

Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market occurs every Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in Millenium Park Plaza, May 11–Oct. 5. More than 200 rotating vendors will participate this year and live music will be featured from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

George Rogers Park

This 26-acre park has something for everyone, from walking trails and picnic areas to playgrounds and pickleball courts. It’s also home to a historic iron furnace, now Oregon’s oldest industrial landmark.

Visit Lake View Village

This picturesque downtown destination is illuminated by European-influenced architecture and lakefront views. Meander the charming streets of Lake Oswego and enjoy window shopping at upscale boutiques and a fabulous selection of restaurants.

Stroll the riverfront at Foothills Park

 

Lake Oswego’s nine-acre premier park on the Willamette River waterfront features a riverfront pathway with access to launch kayaks, and a pavilion with a stone fireplace and amphitheater used for summer concerts. It’s an excellent place to gather friends and family for a picnic.

Gallery Without Walls Exhibition

This unique outdoor sculpture exhibit is free for all ages and open year-round. Featuring 80-plus permanent and rotating art pieces positioned throughout downtown, the display inspires creativity and brings a beautiful cultural element to the city.
