Pizza and Beer!

Odd Moe’s Pizza in Salem and Keizer is collaborating with the Salem Capitals basketball team and Kicking-Cancer organization to offer new craft beers and a hard cider. Customers can enjoy Shoot the J for IPA, Ox Box Lime Lager, and Community Culture Salem Cider while catching a game at the Salem Armory. Odd Moe’s will also feature a variety of delicious food options, including pasta bowls, chicken strips, and their signature Northwest-style pizza.

Legacy of the Land

In 1907, the Heilman family farm in Oregon City hosted a momentous barn raising, where the community gathered to build a magnificent post and beam structure. Over a century later, the farm was reacquired by the Heilman’s descendants, the Keysers, who transformed it into Merrywood Farm, a beloved Christmas tree destination for generations of families.

Pointing Where It Counts

Justin Meehan, owner of Orion Fencing, a non-profit in Vancouver, will be the Paralympic fencing coach at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, where he is projected to have two students compete. Meehan’s lifelong passion for fencing has led him to create an inclusive program that welcomes individuals of all abilities, breaking the stigma that the sport is elitist and dangerous.
